She was predeceased by: her parents, William McIlroy and Doris McIlroy. She is survived by: her son Jason Laxton (Heather); her grandchildren, Quinn and Vivian Laxton; and her brothers, Bill McIlroy (Anne) and Lloyd McIlroy (Jenny). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Mimico Chapel (63 Mimico Ave, Etobicoke, ON M8V1R2). A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Park Lawn Cemetery (2845 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X1A6).
