It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Menka Kanurkas (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Nikolaos and Vasiliki; her husband Nick Kanurkas (Nikolaos); and her siblings, Philip, Vangelis, Manolis, Christos, Alexandra and Chrisanthe.

She is survived by : her children, Irene and Chris; her grandson Kieran Nicholas; her sister Sultana; her sisters-in-law, Vesa, Nicky and Vera; her nieces and nephews, Irene (Burke) and Chris (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Lauren and Ethan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Just before Easter, her father would ask the village community to donate used clothing to the church.
