She is survived by: her children, Alvin, Allister and Anson (Crystal); her great grandchildren, Tinika, Evaea, Mystery, Mythias, Celebi, Roselia, Khaliel (Kali), Tashia Ty (Taivon), Jahleesa, Talvin, Treius, Mekhai and Aariah; her former husband Errol James; her sister Olive; her brother-in-law Arnold; and her nieces and nephews, Howard, Crawford, Angela, Allan, Jenny, Joan, June, Gerry and Ruth.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Parkinson's Canada and the Alzheimer Society of Canada in memory of Merle would be greatly appreciated by the family.
