She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francisco and Juana.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to help with Merlina's burial expenses.
