Though Micaela may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Micaela touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughter Patricia Torres; her child-in-law Pellegrino Castaldo; her grandchildren, Mathias, Camilla and Tomas Castaldo; and her husband Amilcar Torres.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
