It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Bünte (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Michael Bünte to show support.

He is survived by: his wife Ping (Alice); his daughter Cecilia; his godsons, Liam and Hardy; and his parents, Friedrich and Margarete.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the future, at a yet to be determined date, once the COVID restrictions have lifted.

Please note that it was Michael's wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a trust fund for his young daughter Cecilia or the Canadian Cancer Society.
