He was predeceased by: his brother Gerard. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his siblings, Gilles Bertrand (Beryl), Claude Bertrand (Joan), Robert (Lorenda), Peter Bertrand, Raymond Bertrand (Jean), Clare McIntyre, Giselle Griffith, Louise Salapa, Jackie Cox, Lorraine Christie (Andy) and Diane Harris (Robert); and his pet Lucky. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, his many, many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Michael's name would be appreciated by the family.
