We are sad to announce that, on April 23, 2023, at the age of 73, Michael Robert Doody (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his stepson Steven Hussey. He is survived by: his wife Loraine; his son Shaun (Holly Loubert); his stepdaughter Susan Thompson (Bill); his grandchildren, Amy, Jeffrey, Rowan and Calla; his siblings, Patty (Bill), Kathleen (Alastair), Peter (Mary Ellen) and Brian (Diana); and his brother-in-law Perry (Marian). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Michael's memory to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.

“Loraine, I am so sorry to hear about Michael’s passing. I first met him about 1980 when I joined Ruskin and found him to be one of the most likeable members that I would ever meet. I was a member for 20 years, . He may have told you about a meeting we had on Dec. 18/92 when we were about to enter The Old Mill; he was his way home. I told him we were bout to tell our mothers who we dropped off at the door that we were about to be married- he was the 3rd person to know! I will miss him!”
