“It must have been a voice in the Universe that caused me to think of Miriam yesterday and see if there was any news. I wasn't expecting her passing. Miriam was a wonderful teacher of mine in the 50's and later a friend with whom I corresponded. A visit in Hawaii years ago was a wonderful way to celebrate our connection. She meant the world to me and provided much needed guidance to me in my teenage years. Her success in law provided me with inspiration. Susan Schaffer California”
