She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edward Shmakov; her children, Irene Tavares (Tony) and Andrew Shmakov; her grandchildren, Stephanie and Luke; her sibling Bohdan Nadvorniansky (Barbara); her niece Julia Kitt; her son Aiden; her child-in-law Ivonne Marynovych (Ruslan); her grandchildren, Alex, Christian and Emma; her cousin Jerry Kitt of Alberta; and her mother Ira. She was also cherished by her family, especially her daughter.
