He was predeceased by: his father Murray Burton; his siblings, Joyce Heise (Bill) and Chauncey Burton; and his brother-in-law James Roy. He is survived by: his wife Grace Burton; his daughters, Mary Williams (Jason) and Sarah Pennegan (Gemayel); his grandchild Baby Pennegan; his brother Wray Burton (Karen); his sister-in-law Marilyn Roy; and his sibling's children, Lois Fisk (Michael), Ruth Heise, Jason John, Danielle Haury (Luc), Robert Burton and Shelley Sawyer (Chris).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Youth Unlimited (Toronto YFC) in memory of Murray Burton.
