With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Myrna Esperanza Akplu (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Myrna farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Myrna is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She is survived by: her husband Benhard; her children, Merwin, Margerie, Mauren Joy (Cil Peter) and Mira (Kevin); and her grandchildren, Ellenmyr, Esrome, Erinne Shay, Raziel, David and Princess Ainah Nichole. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters, relatives, and many friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "toronto Chapel" (2080 Dufferin St, York, ON M6E3R7). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
