She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry William Millson; her daughter Ruth Ellen Geertsma (Oeds); and her brother George (Margaret). She is survived by: her children, James Edward Millson (Gladys) and Patricia Jane Roy (Wilfred); her grandchildren, Murray (Cheryl), Tom (Karen), Nancy (Luke), Heather (Aviviere), Patricia (Bud), Ben (Claire), Elizabeth (Steve), Morgan (Darryl), Laura (Sean), Angela (Eric), Charles (Jing) and Jerry (Michelle); and her siblings, Janet (late Doug) and Richard (Cheryl).

She enjoyed volunteering at Toronto Western Hospital until the age of 91, when the COVID pandemic lockdowns ended her participation there.
