Nazli Basilious Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Nazli Basilious (Toronto, Ontario). Nazli, born on January 31, 1925, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anwar; her daughter Sanaa (Nick); and her siblings, Ezat, Soad, Soraya and Nadra.
She is survived by: her sibling Siham Iskandar; her children, Shadia Drury (late Dennis) and Wafaa Babcock (Brian); and her grandchildren, Kelly Fewer, Carla Babcock, Stefan Babcock and Alex Allen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes (6191 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M2M4K4). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Riverside Cemetery. A committal service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:30 PM at the Eastern Cemetery (Riverside Cemetery) (334 Church St, Selby, ON K0K2Z0).
