He is survived by: his siblings, Winston Gillis, Sheila McDermott, Florence Gillis, Michael Gillis and Roy Gillis; and his in-laws, Pauline Gillis, Letricia Gillis, Deborah Gillis, Jim McDermott, Mely Gillis and Branka Gillis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
