He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Louis and Maisie Vidal. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, Darnie, Georgina, Dale, Joanne, Wendy, Dianne, Desmond and Debbie; his grandchildren, Ollison, Daislyn, Brice, Dalbert, Peabo, Alijah, Milek and Kai; and his siblings, Wolsey (Alice), Merina (Clarence), Merilia (Fred), Martha, Matilda (Clement), Nathaniel (Delima), Nolly (Anita), Mona, Mavia, Muna, Muriel, Merle and Merltina. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Rosary Parish (354 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M5P1N4).
In memory of Neil, donations may be made to The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul at Holy Rosary Parish, a community that was close to his heart as a volunteer and an important part of his faith.
