She was predeceased by: her husband Nicola; her parents, Maria Vuocolo and Antonio; and her siblings, Ginevra Mormile (Agostino), Umberto, Elvira Ferrante (Gerardo), Lisio (Margherita) and Carmelio.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Soccorsa Tonon (late Marino), Adelina Santaluce (Bruno) and Giuseppe (Gianna); her grandchildren, Nicole Tonon (Ryan Thompson), Victoria Simoes Isabella (Marcus), Denia Santaluce (Jacob Vanstone), Ella and Matteo; Eliseo Scalcione (Antonietta) and Comare Maria Viola (Tonino). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mimico Chapel (63 Mimico Ave, Etobicoke, ON M8V1R2). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (61 Jutland Rd, Etobicoke, ON M8Z2G6). A burial was held on Wednesday, August 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4H0S2).
In lieu of flowers, a donation, in Nella's memory, to the Alzheimer Society of Toronto is appreciated.
