He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenico Macri and Lucia Macri; and his brother Antonio (Nella). He is survived by: his wife Grazia; his sons, Domenic and Tony (late Lucy); his grandchildren, Sarina (Chris), Cassandra, Sophia, Grazia and Antonio; and his siblings, Maria (Gregorio), Caterina (Nicola), Teresa (Raffelle), Mario, Giuseppe, Vincenzo and Anna (Francesco).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nicola's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, a cause close to the family's heart.
