He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Basil Fernandez and Mary Philomena D'Costa Fernandez; his siblings, Robert (late Doris), Mary (Oscar), Julian (Lucy) and Bosco (Iris); and his wife Ida Marie Fernandez.
He is survived by: his stepmother Annie Cordo Fernandez; his siblings, Joe, Reena, Doris, Berna, Sr., Olive, Gemma (late Lionel), Tony and Anna; his children, Ivan (Christine), David (Pamela), Alan and Sandra (Jim); his grandchildren, Matthew (Crystal), Shannon (Loys), Luke (Jessica), Laura, Rose, Rachel and James; and his great grandchild Marlowe.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Our Lord Church (45 Ludstone Dr, Etobicoke, ON M9R2J2). A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at the Assumption Cemetery (6933 Tomken Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T1N4).
