With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Olga Kolisnyk (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Olga's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Olga's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary and John; her siblings, Mike, Ben, Mary and Alice; and her caregiver Olga.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home - Weston Chapel (2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M9N1X7). A Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church (135 La Rose Ave, Etobicoke, ON M9P1A6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at 1567 Royal York Rd, Toronto, ON M9P3C4.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre or in support of humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
