He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine O'Donnell. He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Cooke (Stephen), Mary and Joanne Kerr (Randy); his nephew Jason Kerr; his niece Olivia Cooke (James); his brother-in-law Brian O'Donnell (Sharon); his nieces, Lori and Kerri; his sister-in-law Blanche Drahun (John); his nephews, Darryl, Todd O'Donnell and Justin Drahun; his great-nephew Connor; his great-niece Hailey; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan, Cole and Patricia O'Dell (Alasdair Maclean).

After surviving COVID and other setbacks, Oliver's decline became more rapid.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson Canada.
