With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Orlando Batista (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 1, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Orlando had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Orlando may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his wife Editha; his children, Eloi and Claudia; and his grandchildren, Aria, Luca, Conner and Chloe.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Homes (2080 Dufferin St, York, ON M6E 3R7). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
