“Please accept my sincere condolences--Pam was a lovely person and an extremely intelligent and competent professor. It was always a pleasure to work with her, and such a shock to hear of her death. I know that she will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends and colleagues, and hope that happy memories of her will be of some comfort.
