She was loved and cherished by many people including : her spouse Thomas; her children, Richard Hayes and Thomas Hayes; and her stepchildren, Terry (Gerald) and Ellen (Brian). She was also cherished by family members and many friends.

A committal service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St, North York, ON M2R1Y6).
