He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund and Cecilia (Galvin); his brothers, John and James; and his sister-in-law Marlene (late James).

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Karey, Matthew, Daniel and James (Dianne); his grandchildren, Jakob and Jazmin; and his siblings, Ann (Brisebois) and Michael. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
