He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Thompson and Fern Thompson; and his nephew John. He is survived by: his children, Wendy (Jim), Laurie (Ric), Scott (Lyn) and Shawn; his grandchildren, Ashley, Melissa (Jay), Rachel (Scot), Tristin (Adam) and Clark; his great grandchild Benny; his sister Patricia Hayward (Henry); his niece Cheryl (David); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Coral and Cedar.
