He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Foster (Steedman) and Dr William G. Foster; and his wife Carol. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Thornton (Rod), Charles Foster (Karon) and Ellen Foster (Jim Wiswell); his grandchildren, Sarah Budd (Steven), David Thornton (Caitlin), Kathryn MacPherson (Iain) and Grace Foster; and his great grandchildren, Alastair, Fiona Budd, Beatrice and Henry Thornton.

Peter would appreciate it if anyone wishing to make a memorial donation made it to their school, university, or the Salvation Army.
