Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Petra leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Sjouke Horopw; and her close friend Frank Bar. She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Evaline (late Koos) of Koning, Marijka Edler-Hocking, Pat Boll (late Harry), Jeppe Mellema (late Dieneke) and Gerrit Kulsdom (late Anne-Marie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
