He is survived by: his wife Maria Lombardi; his grandchildren, Abrianna (Colin), Laurenne, Jaiden, Armaan, Peter, Helen and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Marigold and Olivet; and his siblings, Maria Rainone (Antonio) and Antonio Melino (Grace).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Epiphany of Our Lord Parish (3200 Pharmacy Ave, Scarborough, ON M1W3J5). An entombment was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3).
Donations may be made in Pietro's memory in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Lung Association or to Diabetes Canada.
