It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pietro Monaco (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Pietro's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his father Salvatore. He is survived by: his mother Margherita; his sisters, Paola Rendace (Joe) and Roberta Monaco; and his siblings' children, Laura Algieri, Marco Rendace, Luca Rendace and Vince Algieri.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St, North York, ON M6B3S9). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave W, North York, ON M6A1C3).
