Professor David James Murray Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 22, 2026, at the age of 88, Professor David James Murray (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Professor may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Professor touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Murray and William Murray; and his brother Keith (Sylvia). He is survived by: his brother Colin; his nieces and nephews, Keir Murray (Kathleen Murray) and Rachel Breau (David Breau); and his grandchildren, Rachel, Ansley Murray, Colin and Morgan Breau.
