He was predeceased by: his wife Nadia; his parents, Alice and Ibrahim; and his sister Odette. He is survived by: his children, Naguib (Jennifer Lithgow) and Nadine (John Ward); his grandchildren, Joseph, Nicholas Ward (Keith) and Beth Gouda; his brothers, Fouad and Samir; his family, Venvi, Charlene Parish, Dr. Mateen Akhtar and Christine Biptah; and his caregivers, Alix, Jamalyn, Donna, Paul, Zoila, Eleanor, Selda, Emily, Anni Lynne, Melina and Dhanvyi. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins and many other dear relatives and remarkable friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel of St. Joseph at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6).
