He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Sr. Richards and Ursula Richards (Cull); and his siblings, Celeste Andrews, Mildred Hamlyn and Allan Richards.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia of Hampton; his daughter Laurel Richards (Rod) of Toronto, ON; his granddaughter Elsy; his siblings, Harvey Richards (Marjorie) of St. Anthony, NL, Joyce Bowers (Howard) of Baie Verte, NL, Madge Kachur of Wintersville, OH and Vivian Parsons (Ed) of St. Anthony, NL; and his sister-in-law Emma Aitken (Hampton) of Grand-Falls, NL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
