He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Smith; his sister Beverley Smith; and his sister-in-law Ruth Leclerc (Gerard). He is survived by: his significant other Mary Snowden; his grandchildren, Tosha Brisson (Marc), Taylor Hurdle (Leah), Andrew Hurdle, Hunter Jennings and Michael Hurdle; and his great grandchild Hannah Brisson.
