With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raquel Xavier Batalha (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on July 1, 2025 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Raquel Xavier may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Raquel Xavier touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her parents, Olinda and Oscar; and her sisters, Sandra and Claudia.
