He was predeceased by: his niece Ellen Leiner; and his parents, Beatrice Abramovitz and Joseph Abramovitz. He is survived by: his child Aviva; his son-in-law Xavier Guidis; his partner Hal Ritchie; his sister Ruth; his brother-in-law Irving Leiner; his nieces and nephews, Bonnie, Sandy Jesion and Adam Leiner; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah, Sophie, Benji and Vicky.
