He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gronkowski and Antonina Gronkowski; and his brother Stan Gronkowski. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gronkowski; his daughter Nicole Wrigley; his son-in-law Ryan Wrigley; his grandchildren, Alexander, Riana and Harland; his sister Regina Gronkowski; his sibling's children, Lynda Edward and John Przybylek; his sister-in-law Lucy Walters; and his nephew Daniel Walters.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Casimir's Catholic Church (156 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto, ON M6R2L4). A reception was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Café Polonez (195 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto, ON M6R2L5).
