We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2020, at the age of 88, Rita Annie McKay of Toronto, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Annie McKay to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilaire Taylor and Mary Odille Briand of L'ardoise; and her siblings, Louis, Fred, Frank, Chuck, Walter, Julia, Hilda and Joan.
She is survived by: her significant other Francis McKay; her children, Ramona Hand (Jeff Tompkins) and Taylor McKay (Gloria Katsoras); her siblings, Gertie Mombourquette and Herman Taylor; and her siblings-in-law, Gary MacKay (Peggy) and Ruby Surridge.
Due to Covid her daughter Ramona was forced to quarantine for 14 days which meant she lost precious time with her Mom.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
