She is survived by: her husband Tom Harris; her sister Maureen Henderson; her children, Debbie Doyle (Darrell), Danny Doyle, Darlene Tenz (Randy), Denise Buttons Doyle (Nathan), Dawn Freeth (Glen) and Dee Doyle; her grandchildren, Andrea, Karli, Sheldon, Sarah, Jacob, Julie, Steven, Jonah, Brittany, Katie and Kelly; her stepchildren, Randy (Beth) and Darcy (Dale); and her stepgrandchildren, Adam, Dylan, Lucas, Stephanie and Timothy.
In acknowledgement of the care that Rita received from them, the family requests that any donations be directed to support the Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford.
