She was predeceased by: her siblings, Eugenio, Carmela, Luigi, Lorenzo and Adelia.
She is survived by: her husband Rosario; her children, Giuseppe 'Joe' and Carmela (Anthony); her grandchildren, Ross, David, Joseph, Francesco and Mariah; and her sisters, Emilia, Anna and Rosaria. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
An entombment will immediately follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St., Toronto, On.) In honour of Rita, donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children.
