He was predeceased by: his sister Marlene Sawyer; his nephew Mark; his parents, Robert and Lillian; and his wife Kathy.
He is survived by: his daughter Pam Lafferton; his son-in-law John Lafferton; his grandchildren, Michael (Shannon), David, Katherine (Jake), Natalie and Henry; and his nieces and nephews, Stephen (Marjorie), Brian (Pat), David (Tricia), Braden and Dani.
