She was predeceased by: her parents, Gosse and Akke of Boer; and her brother Louis. She is survived by: her siblings, Anne, Peter, Thomas and Elizabeth; her spouse Marinus Vanderspek; and her grandchildren, Juliana, Isaac, Nathan, Josiah and Evelina.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Turner & Porter - Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S1P4). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (3819 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M9B1K7).
