He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Ross Makin and Anna Pearl Makin; and his child Edward'Ted'. He is survived by: his children, Peter (Susan) and Nancey (Luc Lambert); his grandchildren, Sarah (Ryan), Patrick, Kaitlynn (Tanner) and Jean-Luc; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Quinton and Jack; his sisters, Marilyn (Frank Legatto), Carol (Andrew Flett) and Charlotte (late Gregory Land); his friends, Jim Kirk and Mack Robinson; and his cousin Rev. Gerald Morgan.
