We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2025, at the age of 96, Rosalie Jacoba Wimbs (Toronto, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Sr.; her son Robert; and her sister Anna Van Rumpt-Elias (Alan Wimbs). She is survived by: her children, Betsy (Willi Steinke) and John Jr. (Jonathan Schwartz); her granddaughter Sarah Ashton; and her nieces, Catherine Fiona and Alison Bartlett (Scott Smalley).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home (467 Sherbourne St, Toronto, ON M4X1K5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Basil's Catholic Parish (50 St Joseph St, Toronto, ON M5S1J4).
