She was predeceased by: her husband Percy; and her father Michael Coutts. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth, Derek (Marlenne) and Shirley (Steve); her grandchildren, Caitlyn, Olivia, Emma, Sophia, Craig and Stephanie; and her brother Robert Ribeiro (Marina).
