He is survived by: his husband Peter Palmer; his siblings, Alex (Suzanna) of Ottawa, ON, Carl (Karen), Margaret Riggs of Bay de Verde and Jackie Broderick (Gerard) of Bay de Verde; his niece Megan Riggs; his nephews, Jonathan, Nicholas, David, Kyle, Shawn Riggs and Kevin Broderick; and his close friends, Sarah Dwyer and Gerry Saunders.
