He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth (Lee); his parents, William and Alfreda; and his siblings, Stephen, William, Albert, Graham, Lorraine, Howard, Walter, Cyril, Norman, Eric, Doug and David.
He is survived by: his children, Mark and Melody Blain (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jerrett Funeral Homes (1141 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1B1). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sanctuary Park Cemetery & Cremation Centre (1570 Royal York Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9P3C3).
