He was predeceased by: his parents, Gino Bertolo and Joan Bertolo (Morton); his sister Evelyn Schoahs (Erich); and his father-in-law Wilfred Vaillancourt. He is survived by: his wife Paula (Vaillancourt); his children, Sarah Bertolo (Terry Findley) of Virginia and Matthew Bertolo (Keri) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Rowen and Adele Findley; his sisters, Brenda Wilson (Terry) and Cathy Bertolo of Toronto; his mother-in-law Theresa; his siblings-in-law, Terry Wilson, Peter Vaillancourt and Anne Marie Vaillancourt-Sitt (Hans) of Paris, Ontario.; and his nieces and nephews, Eden Cerenzia (Eric) of Kitchener, Theresa Cerenzia (Jesse) of London, Wendy Wilson (John), Tim and Tony Schoahs (Rachel).
