Rubene De Sousa Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rubene De Sousa (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on July 1, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tony and Gina; his brother Cesar; his wife Laura; and his daughter Adele.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cardinal Funeral Homes - Bathurst Time (366 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON M5T 2S6). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Santa Cruz Portuguese Catholic Church (140 Argyle St, Toronto, ON M6J3C8). A burial will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4H4Y8). Rubene, Apple fan and aficionado, and tech backbone of Santa Cruz Church especially during COVID.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Scouts Canada (https://www.scouts.ca) or The Princess Margaret Foundation in memory of Rubene.
