She was predeceased by: her parents, Archibald Pettigrew and Hazel Pettigrew; her husband Harold Richardson; and her siblings, Joyce Herbert, Sharon Lee, Pauline Devlin, Wilma Freestone, Hubert and Robert Pettignew.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Kay (Brian) of Perth and David Richardson of Toronto; her granddaughter Lori Clyne (Reg); and her great grandchildren, Kara and Bailee Clyne.
